would stay here again
The room was clean and had great amenities. Air conditioning kept it cool and there was a tv for entertainment. Free toiletries included shampoo and conditioner, and the private bathroom was well equipped with a hairdryer. Located close to cafes and shops, it was a nice quiet area too.

Good staff - very helpful with all queries.
Suggest a bit better reduction for staying 7 days. Higher rates for weekend pushed up total price a lot..

We stayed in Miami hotel for 3 days. We had a queen size bed, cable tv, mini fridge, kettle, alarm clock, hair dryer in the room. There was Wi-fi in hotel, but you need to pay. There was also computer room, where you can pay and use computers. Hotel stuff were very nice, kind and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday. Hotel is located very close to city. You can walk (appr 10-15 mins) or take a tram (tram stop is nearby hotel too) to reach city center. There are a few shops and cafes around.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The kitchen was a bonus for preparing meals. The clean room offered a great view. Plus, the laundry facilities were handy after days of exploring.

We were grateful of the well priced, very conveniently situated Miami Hotel. Despite the SATNAV not picking up the address it was easy to navigate to it by car, despite it being our first time driving in Melbourne. The hotel parking was well priced - although the tight parking spaces were a little bit of a challenge! Excellent restuarants are a few steps away both for breakfast and dinner. Walking to the newly developed water front took twenty minutes, Queen Victoria Market only ten minutes and the CBD about thirty minutes. A very pleasant stay, we'll happily use the Miami hotel again.

Functional kitchenette, Quiet surroundings, Convenient nearby transport
The centrally controlled air conditioning/heating system limits personal settings!!! Water pressure in the shower fluctuates!!! A little more cleaning attention to the room's table wouldn't hurt!!!

Cleanliness, close to but not in middle of shopping area. Eco friendly approach.
No lift for baggage. Should install a goods lift for the heavy bags -climbing up the stairs with heavy luggage is back breaking-can spoil stay at hotel.

Greeted throughout the week by lovely members of staff. A man would always help us out, not sure of his name, but we were all very happy with the help he gave.

A reasonably priced and pretty standard hotel with really good employees at the receptionist. Nice bed in the budget double room, plus climate control, all the required facilities and luggage storage. Location so close to tram or North Melbourne's railway station, restaurants and supply shops, and the skyline.

Shabby furniture, broken kitchen range/utensils, chipped dishes. Etc., our room was not cleaned in all 5days that we were there, house-keeping eventually got around to straightening up the beds late afternoon.. No joke! No change of sheets in all 5days.. All doors are on spring hinges so all doors slam 24/7 so no sleep.. Ancient tiny 14inch T.v on bracket just below the ceiling level, with broken remote.. Air con broken, in 34degree heat, was controlled by reception.. Fridge very old and broken.. Hot water in ladies shower temperamental. No where to sit in the whole hostel, to read or talk, there is a dining room.. And a computer room.. No comfort at all, internet extreme cost, we actually bought a vodofone deal for our stay, and used our own laptops. $29For one month. Not per day! This backpacker is just that, it is not a hotel that is complete miss-representational of the word.
